My family and I have moved to Thatcher, AZ!

I'm so excited about our move and I'm still getting to know our new town!

I've had a crazy past couple of months with the birth of our second son Hoyt. He had some complications in the beginning but he is back on track now and healthy and happy. I won't be taking on any shoots until September because I am loving being home with my new little guy and getting our family settled into our new home! I'll be frequenting Mesa to see family still and plan to do some shoots there as well, so look for dates and times!

My sister in law Hannah "commissioned" me to do these for her for Christmas of her darling little babies! These were photographs she had taken at home and sent to me. I've done a few in the past for fun and want to offer them to all of you. I love this version of a silhouette because a lot of their character comes out. I'll be taking orders for the next 2 weeks in time for christmas. They are printed on matboard (1/4 in.) with embassy texture, any size print can be done as well as colors.

This little one was determined to stay awake for her photo day. She finally fell asleep and we were able to get a couple precious shots of her! Her mom really wanted to display this sweet necklace of Baby L's aunt who she is named after. I thought it was such a sweet sentiment... one baby sent to heaven and years later a new baby sent to earth.

I had scheduled this family several months prior and as the time grew closer I realized we were going to be having some serious rain. I asked if they wanted to go ahead and give it a shot and they did. It was PERFECT. The clouds opened up just enough and we were able to get some great shots. On my way home it started to rain. I remember the days of taking pictures with disposable film cameras and thinking that when they were developed in black and white they looked so cool! maybe bc they looked more professional or something. Now I appreciate all the vibrant colors and rarely change a photo to black and white. Although sometimes making it BW changes everything. Although there are still those photos that just HAVE to be in color, don't you think!? Thanks Hallie for being the beautiful model that you are!

This little guy is my new nephew! A week old on Wednesday and he is still sooo tiny! The scale is very sentimental as Reeds Great Grandmother who passed away a few years ago was weighed in that scale as a newborn. Congrats Billy & Hannah your first boy and he is sooo sweet!

My cousin and his wife welcomed this little darling about a month ago. We lovingly say he looks like a little eskimo because of ALL his dark hair and dark skin. Named after his uncle who was killed in a very tragic car accident as a teen he is truly a little "bundle of joy" and precious addition to our family!

I did my first maternity shoot for my friend ashley from my salon. She looks PREtty good for being due in a week!!! This girl doesn't have a stretch mark on her! Which made photoshop a breeze! Her kids eyes were a dream too! thanks ash!
